Mapei‘s been one of our favorite newcomers to the alternative pop game in recent memory, and this week she arrives with the video for her anthem-in-waiting, “Don’t Wait”, to accompany the full-scale rollout of her EP by the same name. Directed by Dori Oskowitz, the video provides a perfectly patient accompaniment, a slow-motion bounce through the hazy soothing cycle of young love. And with remixes from Chance The Rapper, Benny Blanco, Kingdom and Giraffage, the EP is a veritable hit parade of alternate takes on the pristine original.
