After a long stretch touring and promoting their lunar eclipse of a debut album, No Moon At All, LA’s Wildcat! Wildcat! return today with their first breath of new material in a minute. Produced by the band with Ran Jackson, “Straight To The Top” starts from the bottom and, well, now we’re here. Striking out with a more uptempo rhythm than the brooding moonless sky of their debut but retaining all the sun-kissed harmonies we’ve come to know and love from the band, it’s a promising taste of things to come on their forthcoming sophomore effort.
