VÉRITÉ has been a star-in-the-making as long as we’ve known her, with each new single offered outdoing the last. Her latest arrived as we were deep in the Nicaraguan jungle last week, but we’ve been making up for lost time in a big way since touching back down in the States with a formidable play count racked up at Neon Gold HQ this week. “Wasteland” lays waste to your senses, like a house-blend full-bodied shot of technicolor gravitas that crosses over from low-key ballad to an unhinged new side of VÉRITÉ that’s a little less Lana and a little more Ellie and a whole lot of amazing.
