TENDER are our favorite new band in London. We’ve had a soft spot for the UK duo since they arrived under shadow of darkness with their debut Armour EP last fall, but their forthcoming follow up marks a quantum leap to a whole new level. This week they start 2016 off right with brand new cut “Afternoon”, replete with all the brooding synths and thundering firecrackers you could ask for, like some kind of dark twisted fantasy transposing Jungle songwriting over Sir Sly production and the dripping atmosphere of Movement.
