We introduced you to MTNS last month with their sun-setting debut, “Lost Track of Time,” and now the Brisbane three-piece are back with a ravishing and ravaging follow up effort. “Salvage” picks right up where “Time” left off, a grim ghost that deftly drifts into your heart like ethereal black magic. As it grinds its synths and howls at the afterlife, it kind of sounds like Sir Sly crossing paths with TV On the Radio, a brief glimmer of recognition exchanged as they pass like ships in the cold cold night. Big things ahead for these mountain men.
