Back in the States and back in the game, we’ve returned from Australia bearing all manner of good tidings for your ears. One such revelation comes courtesy of mystery Gold Coaster Montgomery, who arrives this week with a dazzling initial offering in “War Cry”, ahead of her debut EP next month. All love-laced vocals and resplendent synths, it’s a woozy slowdancer that’s as dreamy a battle cry as we can imagine, produced with assistance by Big Scary‘s Tom Iansek, who’s no stranger to these pages himself.
