We’ve been fully on board with the permasummer sensibilities of Miniature Tigers since they first growled onto the scene back in 2008. Now with a flawlessly-titled new record called Cruel Runnings on the horizon, they’re teasing things out with lead single “Swimming Pool Blues”, premiering exclusively on Neon Gold today. As Charlie Brand’s bubbling vocals flood you with warmth, it all goes full-on heatwave in the chorus as you’re showered in jacuzzi synths and breezy yeah-yeahs. It’s a ferocious comeback from the Mini Tigers and just one of many delights that lay ahead on their forthcoming LP (keep an eye out for the impossibly perfect “We Used To Be The Shit”).
