Marlene ∞ is one of our favorite humans we’ve met in 2014, and with two knockout singles already under her belt in “Bon Voyage” and “Stay Awake“, she’s quickly establishing herself as one of the most talented too. Today she’s back on the scene with an ode to bestfriendship with longtime collaborator and superfriend Ji Nilsson celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8th, which is apparently a thing that exists. Given their previous collaboration on “Bon Voyage”, it should come as no surprise that “Love You Anyway” follows suit by all the right notes, albeit in a soft-lit and sensual way with its cushy R&B embrace. We have a feeling there’s wayyy more magic where this came from.
