GOLD048: HAERTS

It’s officially 10″ season. Hot on the heels of our double drop of tenners for Magic Man and Wet, we’ve got another plus size vinyl coming your way for HAERTS‘ latest this month. Debut offerings “Wings” and “All The Days” set the internet ablaze earlier this year, and now they’re joined by two new burners as their debut EP proper Hemiplegia sees the light of day this month. It’s the title track that unsurprisingly steals the show here, as rippling synths come together under Nini Fabi’s beaconing vocals to create a swelling emotive experience that falls somewhere between Robyn‘s “Dancing On My Own” and the anthemic nostalgia of Sam’s Town-era The Killers on the spectrum of unrelenting pop majesty. It half paralyzes, half stuns like being at a loss for words when you need them the most, and it’s easily HAERTS most powerful and expectation-defying offering to date. The four track EP is out October 22 on frosted clear 10″ vinyl, with preorder available now HERE. Stream “Hemiplegia” below and catch a sneak peak of the whole collection over on Spotify ahead of its worldwide digital release next week.
