Dark Waves is an LA newcomer who snuck up on us in the shadow of the night last year. Nick Long’s debut EP dropped a few months back, and with it arrived shadow-kissed sleeper hit “I Don’t Wanna Be In Love”. As sinister guitars lock lips with his earnest croon, it unravels slowly like strung-out direct hit to the heartstrings.
