LIVED IN FEAR ONCE OR TWICE.

Daniel Wilson is a new singer-songwriter out of Southern Michigan on a serious tear right now. After teasing out his upcoming sophomore EP with three sterling stunners these past few months – each more emotive than the last – his latest heartbreaker, “If You Went Away”, just might be his coup de grâce. As the emotive chords resonate into your heart, the golden age brass and open-heart harmonies swell to symphonic proportions and fall to earth somewhere between the laid-bare emotion of Alex Winston and orchestral wistfulness of Sufjan Stevens. Must be something in that Michigan water. Look out for Wilson’s forthcoming EP, The Boy Who Cried Thunder, out next week and available for preorder now.
