CAN’T HELP IT IF WE’RE TILTED.

Today is a special one, as we introduce you to our newest Neon Gold family member, the one and only Christine And The Queens. The Parisian empress has been tearing up the charts in her native France (and Belgium) for a minute now, and for damn good reason. After winning Best Female Artist and Video of the Year at the French Grammy-equivalent Victoires de la Musique Awards last month, her chart-topping debut album Chaleur Humaine has since been certified 3x platinum with over 300,000 records sold since its release last summer, and a glance at the international charts sees Christine sitting pretty at #1 on both the French album and singles charts at this very moment. The time has arrived then, for her to set her sights on the international spotlight, as buzz begins to spread beyond French borders; recent interviews have seen her name dropped by everyone from Lorde (“transcendent”) to Madonna (“incredible”) and Mark Ronson (“fuck”).

So to say we’re honored to bring Christine And The Queens across the pond would be a vast understatement, and we’re over the moon to release her to American audiences for the first time with the Saint Claude EP out next month, preceded by her stateside debut at SXSW in a few weeks’ time (more on that tomorrow). To mark the occasion, she unveils her debut US single “Tilted” today, an English reimagining of French / Belgian #1 hit “Christine”, diamond-cut and polished to chiseled perfection. Check out the immaculate lyric video above for a taste of Christine’s future-perfect choreography, or dive into the stream below and look out for the five track Saint Claude EP arriving April 14th on Neon Gold / Because / Atlantic, preorder available now HERE.
